Staff – Wealth & Asset Management Tax (FSO)

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as a Staff member in the Wealth & Asset Management Tax practice. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, providing tax compliance and advisory services to hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax compliance work for hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds.
• Assist senior staff and partners on domestic, international, state and local tax matters.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Identify technical tax issues, raise questions early, and consult senior team members as needed.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field; advanced tax or law degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 9 months of relevant tax experience.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and ability to build client relationships.
• Motivation to obtain professional certification if not already held.

Required skills

• CPA (or equivalent internationally recognized accounting designation).
• Enrolled Agent certification.
• LLM or other advanced tax law qualification.
• Tax compliance and advisory expertise.
