Multi-State Tax Senior (Investment Management)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Multi-State Tax Senior to join its US Tax team in the Cayman Islands. You will work with investment‑management clients, providing both compliance and consulting services across multiple US states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute US tax engagements from start to finish.
• Prepare, review and file state tax compliance returns for partnerships and corporations.
• Conduct tax planning, research and provide advisory solutions to clients.
• Leverage tax technology tools and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members.
• Participate in Deloitte’s well‑being, sustainability and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent) or near completion.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preparing and reviewing US state tax compliance and filings.
• Experience in tax services within a professional services environment.
