Room Attendant / Turndown Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant/Turndown Attendant provides service‑driven housekeeping for guest rooms and public areas at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. You will ensure rooms are clean, well‑stocked, and ready for guests, delivering a memorable experience in line with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, furniture, windows, and floor coverings.
• Complete turndown services, including emptying trash, removing used room‑service items, and handling special decorative duties like Rose Petal Turndown.
• Report any deficiencies, maintenance needs, or lost‑and‑found items promptly to the Night Supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, deep‑cleaning tasks (carpet shampooing, floor polishing, window cleaning), and laundry as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and carts, ensuring work areas are organized and fully stocked while following health, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Required profile

• Service‑driven, energetic, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail with the ability to promptly address guest requests and report issues.
• Willingness to perform both routine and specialized cleaning tasks, including decorative turndown services.
