Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports daily restaurant and banquet operations, ensuring guests receive professional service while training line staff to meet luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate restaurant and banquet service performance and coordinate timely food production.
• Assist the F&B Manager with budgeting, financial objectives, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Schedule Food & Beverage staff, balancing guest needs with staffing ratios.
• Implement marketing plans, monitor sales targets, and manage labor and operating expenses.
• Conduct employee evaluations, training programs, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas in partnership with the Restaurant Manager and Chef.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years management experience in an upscale restaurant or luxury hotel/resort.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, or Culinary Management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
