Marine Parts Salesperson

About the role

The Marine Parts Salesperson supports the daily operations of the parts and accessories retail department at Scotts Marine. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing inventory, assisting customers, and collaborating with the service team to ensure the right parts are available for marine repairs and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance on marine engine parts, accessories, and boating equipment.
• Operate the sales counter, process invoices, and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain and update the computerised parts catalogue and inventory management system.
• Assist the service department by locating and supplying parts for workshop use.
• Receive, stock, price, and rotate inventory on the showroom floor.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and respond to customer inquiries.
• Keep the showroom and storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of retail or similar experience, preferably in marine parts or accessories.
• Knowledge of boat equipment, inboard and outboard engines, fishing gear, and marine accessories.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and ability to work Monday‑Saturday.
