Business Development Manager

About the role

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships across the region. The role works closely with firm leadership, partners and practice groups to develop and execute targeted business development strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic client development initiatives, including lead generation, cross‑selling, pitches, RFPs and proposals from qualification through submission.
• Develop tailored growth plans for senior stakeholders, manage business development projects and events, and track performance against KPIs and ROI.
• Provide strategic coaching to fee earners and junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or law.
• 5‑7+ years of experience in business development or consulting, preferably within professional services or the legal sector.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial or team‑lead capacity with responsibility for people or projects.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., InterAction) for list segmentation, pipeline tracking and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for collaboration and document management.
• Ability to build and interpret dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
