About the role
Aon is seeking a Domicile Leader to head its captive management operation in the Cayman Islands. This senior position combines client leadership, regulatory engagement, and people management to drive growth and deliver exceptional service to the market.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Cayman office, ensuring operational excellence, service quality and delivery against client commitments.
- Translate Aon Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM) and Hub strategy into actionable local plans aligned with the Cayman regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and deliver consistent client outcomes.
- Represent Aon as a senior figure within the Cayman insurance and captive community.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, industry associations and key market stakeholders.
- Support business development, retention and growth across Cayman and the wider region.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing local team, handling recruitment, onboarding, coaching, succession planning and engagement.
- Champion Aon United culture, fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
- Ensure compliance with Cayman regulatory requirements, Aon policies and the ACIM Risk Management Framework.
- Act as liaison with regulatory bodies, supporting audits, inspections and governance activities.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in captive insurance or related financial services.
- Strong track record of client leadership, regulatory engagement and people management.
- Ability to translate global strategy into local execution within a regulated environment.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with clients, regulators and industry bodies.
- Demonstrated capability to drive business development and growth.
