Senior Auditor

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking a Cayman Islands‑based Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will contribute to audit engagements across the firm’s global operations, ensuring robust risk management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Internal Audit Managers throughout audit planning, execution, and reporting phases.
• Conduct independent assessments of business processes, operational risk, and internal controls.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of audit findings and develop actionable improvement recommendations.
• Draft audit reports for management, audit sub‑committees, and the Board.
• Monitor compliance with AML/KYC, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Track open findings and support follow‑up audits on high‑risk areas.

Required profile

• Professional experience in internal audit, preferably within financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex processes objectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement.
