Senior Associate, Fund Finance

About the role

As a Senior Associate in Fund Finance, you will support the Fund Financing Credit Operations team, ensuring accurate execution and monitoring of loan drawdowns, foreign exchange trades, and related documentation. You will work closely with risk, compliance, treasury, and client service teams to deliver timely financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve loan drawdowns and FX trades, ensuring timely execution.
• Liaise with risk, compliance, treasury, and client service teams to complete financing and trade requests.
• Maintain post‑execution finance legal documentation.
• Prepare and review new financing facility requests and annual renewals for compliance with credit policies.
• Validate hedge‑fund FX hedging transactions against credit risk policies.
• Check risk metric classifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor credit facility fee calculations and coordinate fee collections.
• Issue margin statements for Passive Currency Overlay clients and follow up on late settlements.
• Track and monitor credit exposure of counterparties, escalating issues as needed.
• Support departmental projects to meet key deliverable timelines.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fund finance or corporate lending, managing commercial relationships.

Required skills

• Experience with alternative fund financing, including NAV and capital‑call facilities.
• Familiarity with derivative legal documentation such as ISDA and CSA.
• Strong financial modeling abilities.
