Vice President – Funds Fiduciary

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Funds Fiduciary team in Grand Cayman. This senior position will support the delivery of high‑quality fiduciary services to a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise fiduciary duties and review transaction documents.
• Coordinate the client acceptance process and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Provide exceptional client service while maintaining regulatory standards.
• Assist in managing junior staff and lead ad‑hoc projects.
• Represent the firm at industry association events as required.

Required profile

• University degree with an excellent academic record.
• Internationally recognised professional designation.
• 8‑10 years of relevant financial services experience, including 1‑2 years of fiduciary work.
• Strong knowledge of investment fund structures, strategies, corporate governance, and local regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of financial statements; experience with unit trusts is an advantage.
• Proven ability to liaise with lawyers, investment managers, institutional investors, and administrators across jurisdictions.
• Ready to act as an effective director on an investment fund board immediately.
