Board Director

About the role

Eightpoint Technologies is seeking a Board Director to provide strategic oversight and governance expertise across its multinational operations. The Director will work alongside existing board members to guide company strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect shareholder interests.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in regular board meetings and offer strategic guidance on corporate governance, risk management, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and technology strategy.
• Collaborate with management and fellow board members to align operations with shareholder interests and legal requirements in the United States, Cayman Islands, and China.

Required profile

• Permanent resident of the Cayman Islands and a non‑dual U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years with a multinational technology company handling user data or software development.
• Advanced degree or credential such as an MBA, JD, CPA, or CFA.
• Executive‑level experience with responsibility for strategic decision‑making, team leadership, or P&L management.
• Experience in international treasury, banking, and cross‑border financial management.
• Preferred: familiarity with U.S. regulatory compliance for technology firms and knowledge of the CFIUS mitigation process.
