Account Executive – Group Accounting Services

About the role

Oxbridge Re Holdings Limited, a Nasdaq‑listed group, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own accounting operations and reporting across the parent company and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage daily accounting, monthly close, and consolidated US GAAP financial statements for a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks, including cash payments, bank transactions, AP/AR reconciliation and maintenance of entity‑level books.
• Own the close calendar, prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated US GAAP financial statements with all required workpapers and intercompany eliminations.
• Maintain reinsurance, tokenized and blockchain related ledgers, reconcile contracts, claims and investor registers.
• Support US operating entities and AI infrastructure SPVs with project accounting, fixed‑asset tracking and payroll coordination.
• Prepare SEC filings (Form 10‑Q, 10‑K), coordinate external audits and maintain corporate accounting records for Cayman Islands and NASDAQ compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of experience in ledger management, month‑end close and multi‑entity consolidation, preferably in reinsurance, captive insurance or public‑company environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules and Cayman Islands regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work overtime and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar multi‑entity accounting systems.
• Proficiency in US GAAP consolidation and intercompany accounting.
