US Tax Manager – Investment Management (Cayman Islands)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for investment‑management clients in the Cayman Islands. You will oversee the full tax engagement cycle, stay current with US tax regulations, and leverage emerging technologies to deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax teams and manage engagements, including developing tax strategies and ensuring compliance with US tax regulations.
• Prepare, review and file US tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
• Liaise with client staff to address tax issues and provide advisory support.
• Train and coach team members on tax tools, new technologies and regulatory updates.
• Participate in Deloitte’s well‑being, sustainability and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent).
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience in a professional services firm or large public accounting organization.
• Strong knowledge of US international tax compliance and the Internal Revenue Code.
