Insurance Executive

About the role

The Insurance Executive will manage technical insurance and reinsurance matters for Marsh Cayman clients, primarily captive insurance and re/insurance entities. Reporting to the SVP and CSL Insurance Leader, the role combines consulting, advisory and managerial responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the (re)insurance renewal process, negotiate contracts, policy wordings and endorsements.
• Provide strategic input on program structure, design and analysis, and oversee claims processing and resolution.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and act as the client executive for nominated clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, regulators and internal teams.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised insurance or risk‑management qualification (e.g., A.C.I.I. or CPCU).
• Minimum 7 years of (re)insurance experience, including captive management.
• At least 7 years of recent experience building customer relationships in an insurance management or client services role.
• Strong knowledge of captive and (re)insurance policy structures and investment accounting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage workload independently, work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
