Insurance Executive

About the role

The Insurance Executive will manage technical insurance and reinsurance matters for Marsh Cayman clients, primarily captive insurance and re/insurance entities. This senior consulting and advisory position ensures high‑quality service, regulatory compliance, and strategic support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the (re)insurance renewal process, including issuing contracts, policy wordings, and endorsements.
• Provide strategic input into program structure, design, and analysis, and oversee claims processing and resolution.
• Act as Client Executive for nominated clients, maintaining strong relationships with brokers, service providers, and internal teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments, interact with regulators, and ensure compliance for client businesses.

Required profile

• Internationally recognized insurance or risk management qualification (e.g., A.C.I.I. or CPCU).
• Minimum 7 years of (re)insurance experience, including captive management.
• Proven experience building customer relationships in insurance management or client services.
• Strong knowledge of captive and (re)insurance policy structures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting.
