Senior Transaction Diligence Associate – Financial Services

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO) is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transaction Diligence team within the EY‑Parthenon practice. You will work on high‑impact M&A engagements for leading banks, asset managers, insurers and private‑equity firms, helping clients assess deal value and mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead diligence analyses for complex transactions, covering financial performance, profit drivers and historical trends.
• Collaborate with private‑equity and corporate clients to identify and quantify financial risks.
• Prepare and present findings on value drivers, risk factors and deal pricing to senior stakeholders.
• Support the full diligence lifecycle, from data collection to final recommendation.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the practice.

Required profile

• Senior‑associate level experience in transaction diligence, M&A advisory or related financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to client engagements.
• Passion for solving complex financial challenges in the financial services sector.
