Insurance Executive

About the role

The Insurance Executive will manage technical insurance and reinsurance matters for a portfolio of clients, primarily captive insurance and re/insurance entities. Acting as the main contact, you will ensure high‑quality service, regulatory compliance and provide advisory support to both clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the (re)insurance renewal process, including drafting contracts, policy wordings and endorsements.
• Provide strategic input on program structure, design and analysis, and oversee claims processing and resolution.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and act as the client executive for nominated accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, regulators and service providers, and partner with accounting colleagues on market developments.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised insurance or risk‑management qualification (e.g., A.C.I.I. or CPCU).
• Minimum 7 years of (re)insurance experience, preferably including captive management.
• At least 7 years of recent experience building customer relationships in insurance management or client services.
• Strong knowledge of captive and (re)insurance policy and agreement structures.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
