Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of fund administration services, is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds. You will be responsible for accurate fund accounting, investor servicing, financial reporting and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and administration of alternative investment funds, including NAV calculations and investor reporting.
• Reconcile cash, portfolio positions and capital activity across multiple counterparties.
• Coordinate with investment managers, custodians, brokers, auditors and other service providers.
• Support year‑end audit processes and prepare financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Process investor subscriptions, redemptions and capital transactions, and review fee and allocation calculations.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, investment accounting or auditing within funds/wealth management.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment structures such as hedge funds or private equity.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with fund accounting platforms.
