Trainee Accountant – Full‑Time Training Contract

About the role

DM Financial is seeking a motivated Caymanian candidate to join as a Trainee Accountant on a full‑time training contract, working towards a professional accountancy qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with company incorporations, drafting constitutional documents and completing filings.
• Work with global teams on IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP reporting for clients.
• Draft board meeting minutes and resolutions, and support new client onboarding.
• Maintain and review client AML information and manage corporate records.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory authorities and DM’s international offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Actively pursuing or willing to enrol in a professional accountancy qualification.
• Strong project and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, self‑motivated and collaborative.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP reporting standards.
• Familiarity with AML procedures and regulatory systems such as CAP, CORIS and REEFs.
