Senior Audit Professional – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

Join EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) as a Senior Audit professional within the Wealth & Asset Management team. You will work with multi‑disciplinary teams across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, delivering assurance services to a diverse portfolio of asset managers, private equity firms and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for wealth and asset management clients, ensuring accurate financial statement reporting.
• Perform complex audit procedures and develop client‑focused audit strategies.
• Coach and manage a team of audit professionals, providing tools and guidance for their development.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their assurance needs and identify new business opportunities.
• Identify potential risks, propose improvements to audit processes, and stay informed on emerging business trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline.
• Minimum 18 months of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of audit standards and procedures.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and provide insightful commentary.
