Partner – Restructuring and Insolvency

About the role

Arkus Advisory is seeking an experienced restructuring and insolvency practitioner to join the firm as a Partner (Non‑Equity). This senior leadership position will manage complex cross‑border mandates, lead case teams, and help grow the firm’s client portfolio across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage voluntary, provisional and official liquidations, receiverships and restructuring assignments in compliance with Cayman Islands law and professional standards.
• Supervise case teams, ensuring statutory, regulatory and court compliance.
• Provide strategic and commercial advice to clients in both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Originate and develop new mandates across the Caribbean, U.S., Europe and Asia.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster technical excellence.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic direction, operational development and business planning.

Required profile

• Eligible to hold Cayman Islands formal appointments or meet residency conditions.
• At least ten years of experience in restructuring and insolvency, including leadership of Cayman Islands formal appointments.
• Recognized professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, JIEB or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law or a related discipline.
• High integrity and professionalism consistent with officer‑of‑the‑court responsibilities.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Cayman Islands insolvency legislation and Grand Court practice.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Base salary of US$175,000 per annum, paid monthly and negotiable.
• Performance‑based bonus up to 50% of net profits from personally originated engagements.
