Investor Services Transfer Agency Officer

About the role

The Transfer Agency Officer will oversee the client service team, manage key client relationships and act as the escalation point for technical issues. The role also involves driving efficiencies, supporting business growth and fostering employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of the Transfer Agency team, plan work, manage resources and recruit new staff.
• Maintain client relationships through regular meetings, forums and ensure client satisfaction.
• Sign off on internal, client and investor reporting, and own daily cash and trade reconciliations.
• Identify gaps in internal controls, promote risk awareness and support a zero‑error policy.
• Develop and deliver training for Senior Associates and participate in department‑wide training initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years AML and regulatory knowledge.
• 4+ years fund administration experience, including hedge fund and private‑equity transfer agency.
• 2+ years people‑management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility to work in the Cayman Islands (Caymanian or married to a Caymanian).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Transfer Agency policies and procedures.
• Experience with ISS (AIS’s Enterprise wide Investor Services System).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
