Business Analysis Lead – Global Transformation

About the role

The Business Analysis Lead will head the global Business Analyst and Business Testing community within the Transformation function of a leading international law firm. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery, ensuring that business analysis practices drive value for the firm and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to a team of permanent and contractor Business Analysts, overseeing planning, risk management, prioritisation and delivery of BA activities.
• Plan and manage business analysis efforts, define how requirements are captured, and review deliverables for quality and consistency.
• Build a collaborative BA community that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation and constructive conflict resolution.
• Develop and maintain BA and Testing capability roadmaps, aligning processes, methodologies and tools with best practices and firm‑wide transformation priorities.
• Define success metrics for initiatives and ensure they link to broader strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in BA and Testing practices, fostering ownership, innovation and capability development across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Business Analyst teams in large, complex transformation programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on business outcomes and value creation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to partner with senior business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement capability roadmaps and improvement initiatives.
