Technical Support Engineer

About the role

As a Technical Support Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting Options' trading operations and technology infrastructure. You will work on‑site with the client’s technology team and collaborate closely with Options technology professionals to ensure smooth operation of the infrastructure. This fast‑paced position offers the chance to contribute to a global financial services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the client’s primary technical contact, providing on‑site support for all Options technology systems.
• Monitor system health and performance, performing regular maintenance such as software updates and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to internal teams.
• Respond to client incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Collaborate with Options technology teams on system enhancements, upgrades, testing and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of on‑site technical support experience within financial services.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyse complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to convey technical information clearly.
• Client‑focused mindset, adaptable to a fast‑changing environment.
