Senior Audit Professional – Banking & Capital Markets

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Office is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Banking & Capital Markets team. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, delivering assurance services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex and specific audit procedures while developing client‑focused audit strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of audit projects and lead a team of assurance professionals.
• Coach, mentor and develop audit staff, providing the tools and opportunities they need to grow.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to tailor services and support new business development.
• Identify potential risks, propose improvements, and contribute to product and process innovation.
• Stay updated on business trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes affecting banking and capital markets.

Required profile

• Several years of audit experience within banking, capital markets or related financial services.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Expertise in audit methodologies and procedures.
• Financial statement analysis and reporting knowledge.
• Understanding of banking and capital markets regulations.
