Communications Intern (Roster, Nationals Only)

About the role

The Communications Intern will support the production of communication and advocacy materials for UNDP projects in Kyrgyzstan, helping to strengthen UNDP’s presence on social media and assist with public events and weekly communication plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical production of communication and advocacy tools, including design of social media content.
• Assist in creating video reels, photo essays, and visual content tailored for various platforms.
• Write, edit, and proofread social media posts, stories, articles, blogs, and press releases in English, Russian, and Kyrgyz.
• Contribute to the development and coordination of weekly communications plans and support public events related to project implementation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s degree or a postgraduate program in Media, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations, or recent graduate.
• Proficient in English, Russian, and Kyrgyz.
• Strong writing skills with sample work required.

Required skills

• Video production and photo shooting (portfolio links required).
• Graphic design and use of AI tools for visual production.
• Content creation for social media platforms.
