Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive

About the role

The Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive will partner with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategic business development plans, identify new client opportunities and deliver integrated marketing initiatives that support the firm’s objectives across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Support practice group business plans, manage budgets and track performance under the Marketing & BD Manager.
• Conduct client and market research to shape targeting strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate business development trips, conferences and events, and assess ROI.
• Maintain and develop targeting lists using the firm’s CRM and marketing tools.
• Collaborate with global marketing teams to drive cross‑selling and ensure consistent messaging.
• Prepare directory submissions, client references and awards nominations.
• Develop and maintain marketing collateral, pitches and presentations for client meetings and events.
• Draft regular marketing reports, analyse performance and provide insights for strategy refinement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
• Minimum three years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in finance, professional services or a law firm.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with CRM tools such as InterAction.
• Data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., PowerBI).
• Familiarity with mailing platforms (e.g., Vuture) and pitch creation tools (e.g., PitchPerfect).
• Understanding of website CMS and AI‑enhanced productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
