Senior Manager, Capital Markets and Funds

About the role

The Senior Manager, Capital Markets and Funds will provide independent oversight and strategic input for capital markets and investment fund entities. You will lead board meetings, review transaction documentation, and ensure robust governance across a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior manager for capital markets and fund entities, delivering strategic oversight.
• Lead and participate in board meetings, reviewing and commenting on transactional and fund documentation.
• Coordinate with service providers and ensure strong governance practices.
• Collaborate with the global capital markets team on cross‑jurisdictional transactions and complex structuring.
• Partner with business development and senior leadership to provide pricing guidance and commercial insights for new client opportunities.
• Oversee corporate finance support, fund transactions, regulatory filings, and structured entity governance.
• Lead client‑delivery teams across Cayman and international offices to ensure high‑quality service and timely execution.
• Serve as primary escalation point in Cayman for complex capital markets and fund matters.
• Liaise with compliance, finance, risk, internal audit, and global operations to maintain firmwide standards.
• Maintain governance, data management, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on regulatory developments affecting capital markets and advise internal teams and clients.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for the capital markets function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (required).
• MBA, Master’s degree, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or insurance license (preferred).
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in capital markets, fund administration, or related financial services.
