Software Engineer – .NET & Azure (Cayman Islands)

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Cayman Islands team. You will work with a talented group of engineers, leveraging Microsoft technologies to design, build, test, and maintain internal applications and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, testable, maintainable, and scalable solutions using .NET and C#.
• Investigate and resolve bugs while continuously improving existing applications.
• Maintain high code quality standards and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Embed security, stability, and capacity considerations into development and deployment.
• Integrate software components and third‑party applications.
• Utilise Azure Cloud services to enhance performance and scalability.
• Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines following best practices.
• Participate actively in Agile and SCRUM ceremonies.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and operational teams to foster an innovative culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ethical standards, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
