IT Technician / Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Technician / Network Engineer to join our growing technical team at a well‑established media company in the Cayman Islands. The role combines day‑to‑day IT support with involvement in upcoming infrastructure projects, offering a varied and hands‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network and IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi‑Fi and servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and network issues for users and technical teams.
• Support media, broadcast and AV‑related technology across the business.
• Monitor systems to ensure reliable, secure and high‑performing networks.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, new installations and project roll‑outs.
• Document system configurations, procedures and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external technical partners as required.
• Provide occasional out‑of‑hours or on‑call support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a network engineering, IT technician or similar technical role.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on project responsibilities.
