Board Director – Strategic Oversight

About the role

Eightpoint Technologies is seeking a Board Director to provide strategic oversight and governance for its multinational operations. The Director will work alongside existing board members to shape company strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect shareholder interests across the United States, Cayman Islands, and China.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in regular board meetings and provide guidance on corporate governance, risk management, and financial oversight.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all operating jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with senior management on technology strategy and international treasury matters.
• Monitor and advise on U.S. regulatory frameworks, data privacy, and consumer protection standards.
• Support CFIUS mitigation processes and cross‑border transaction considerations.

Required profile

• Permanent resident of the Cayman Islands and a sole U.S. citizen (no dual citizenship).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with an advanced degree or credential (MBA, JD, CPA, CFA).
• At least 5 years in a multinational technology company handling user data or software development.
• Executive‑level experience with strategic decision‑making, team leadership, and P&L responsibility.
• Experience in international banking, treasury operations, and cross‑border financial management.
