Associate – Client Services & FATCA/CRS Compliance

About the role

The Associate will manage a portfolio of institutional clients, ensuring timely compliance filings and supporting the Directors and Associate Director with database and reporting projects. This position combines client liaison, regulatory reporting, and operational support within Waystone’s asset‑servicing business.

Key responsibilities

• Independently liaise with internal departments and external clients in a professional manner.
• Prepare tax forms, notices, FATCA reports and other regulatory documents.
• Conduct first‑level reviews of documentation for Director signature and request necessary changes.
• Monitor accounts receivable for the assigned client portfolio.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of US FATCA, CRS, and related due‑diligence requirements.
• Onboard new FATCA/CRS clients from initiation through completion.
• Assist in developing and implementing AEOI procedures and processes.
• Support team members by managing inboxes, processing work, and sharing knowledge during meetings.
• Keep client databases current and ensure accurate engagement completion.
• Prepare AEOI reports for board meetings and coordinate related calls.

Required profile

• Ability to perform all essential duties to a satisfactory standard.
• Strong understanding of FATCA, CRS, Intergovernmental Agreements and US Treasury Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
