About the role
Dart Management Services Ltd. is looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounting to support its investment accounting function. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial information while driving system and process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial projects such as system implementations, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
- Prepare and review net asset value reports, investment performance reporting, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Support day‑to‑day operations of the investment accounting department, providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Research and interpret accounting standards and investment‑related regulations, developing controls to ensure compliance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other core accounting activities while maintaining a strong control environment.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior staff through effective resource allocation and performance management.
Required profile
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- At least 5 years of financial services experience, including 2+ years in investment accounting or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting for securities, derivatives, valuation methodologies, multi‑currency transactions, performance reporting, and IFRS requirements.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Proven success leading system implementations, process automation, and report development projects.
- Experience coordinating external audits and supporting robust governance and internal controls.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with AI tools.
- Familiarity with Sage 100.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg.
- Experience using Power BI.
