Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement Manager

About the role

The Computer Services Department of the Cayman Islands Government is seeking a forward‑thinking AI Enablement Manager to lead the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across ministries and agencies. You will act as a strategic advisor and change leader, bridging business needs with emerging AI capabilities to improve public services, operational efficiency, and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI enablement strategies, frameworks, and adoption plans aligned with government digital transformation objectives and responsible AI principles.
• Engage ministries and departments to identify AI opportunities, promote awareness, and foster a culture of innovation.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and AI literacy initiatives to improve organizational readiness.
• Bridge technical teams, vendors, and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet practical public‑sector needs.
• Support AI pilot initiatives, including use‑case evaluation, business process analysis, prompt development, and adoption planning.
• Collaborate with governance, architecture, cybersecurity, and legal teams to ensure compliance with policy, security, privacy, and ethical standards.
• Mentor and develop team members working on AI projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AI adoption, digital transformation, or technology enablement within the public sector or large organisations.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and ensure responsible, secure AI use.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI concepts, responsible AI principles, and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience with AI pilot management, use‑case evaluation, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and legal considerations for AI deployments.
