About the role
Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Consultant to join its Cayman Islands team. In this Tax Associate position you will support US tax engagements, preparing returns and compliance filings while developing technical expertise in US tax law.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare US tax returns and related compliance filings for partnership and corporate clients.
- Conduct technical research on complex taxation issues and propose solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality work.
- Learn and apply Deloitte’s tax tools and emerging technologies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA.
- Working towards a recognised professional designation that permits practice before the US IRS (e.g., CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent).
- Previous tax or related experience is preferred, including co‑op or internship experience.
