US Tax Manager – Investment Management (Cayman Islands)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for investment‑management clients in the Cayman Islands. You will oversee the full tax engagement cycle, ensure compliance with US tax regulations, and mentor a team of tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of investment‑management clients, delivering high‑quality US tax services.
• Develop tax strategies, prepare and file US tax returns, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and coach tax teams, providing training on tax tools and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with client staff and internal stakeholders to address tax issues.
• Participate in well‑being, sustainability, and community initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent).
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience in a professional services firm or large accounting organization.
• Strong knowledge of US international tax compliance and the Internal Revenue Code.
