Senior Fund Accountant – Hedge Funds

About the role

Citco is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to support the administration of a portfolio of hedge funds. You will work closely with the account manager and clients to ensure accurate fund accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the account manager with day‑to‑day administration of global business companies and hedge fund portfolios.
• Calculate and report net asset values (NAVs) and handle trade and corporate‑action queries.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations with custodians, prime brokers and counterparties.
• Verify fee accruals, prepare expense budget analysis, and compute performance/incentive fees.
• Analyze fund value changes relative to market movements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare income distributions, financial statements, and support audit processes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to procedural improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with hedge funds.
• Strong understanding of NAV calculations, fee structures, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.
