Engineering Procurement Agent

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Procurement Agent to join our Engineering team. The role supports procurement, vendor management, and administrative operations to ensure materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently for safe and effective engineering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment, tools, chemicals, supplies, and services in line with company policies and operational requirements.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate vendor quotations, bids, contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and service agreements.
• Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring authorization requirements and procurement controls are followed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast material requirements for preventive maintenance and capital projects.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality, pricing, delivery, and service issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor information, pricing agreements, and auditable purchasing documentation.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within the Caribbean.
• Experience supporting engineering, facilities, hospitality, commercial real estate, healthcare, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of maintenance materials, building systems, MRO supplies, and contractor procurement processes.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of D365 or similar ERP/CMMS platforms (procurement, inventory, work orders, reporting).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
