Cloud Engineer – Microservices & Cloud Native Development

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Microservices Developer to design, build and maintain modern cloud‑native solutions that support critical business operations and drive digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot.NET, Node.js, Go or Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and, where required, GraphQL or gRPC endpoints.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform, using Docker and Kubernetes (or managed services).
• Implement event‑driven architectures with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS/SNS or EventBridge.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate testing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance, scalability and resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing enterprise‑level software and building microservices solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills, with experience in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environments.

• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, CI/CD tools.
• API security: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS/SNS, EventBridge.
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
