Trust Associate (Private Client)

About the role

We are seeking a Trust Associate to manage private client trusts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high‑quality service to our global clientele. The role involves administering a portfolio of trusts, conducting reviews, and liaising with a range of intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply trust regulatory requirements in line with Ocorian policies.
• Administer a portfolio of trusts with an average of 5.5 billable hours per day.
• Conduct trust reviews, investment reviews, and ongoing transaction monitoring.
• Review trust financial statements and bank statements, arranging deposits as needed.
• Manage billing, collection of receivables, and ensure accuracy of trust records and databases.
• Respond to incoming correspondence within three working days and attend client meetings.
• Liaise with corporate administrators, bankers, protectors, investment managers, settlors and beneficiaries.
• Handle high‑volume client workload while maintaining a mature approach to complex trust administration.

Required profile

• Formal trustee qualification (TEP or ICSA) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in trust administration, with the ability to work independently.
• Broad knowledge of trust and estate administration, corporate trusts, accounting and investment principles.
• Proven ability to train and develop junior staff.
• Strong team‑building and organisational skills.
