Pharmacist (Retail Pharmacy)

About the role

Kirk Market is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to join its retail pharmacy team in the Cayman Islands. The role involves ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process new prescriptions and refills, update the computerized record system, and verify medication accuracy.
• Provide drug therapy counseling and respond to enquiries from healthcare staff and patients.
• Maintain inventory of narcotic, controlled, prescription and non‑prescription drugs, including ordering, stock counts and record keeping.
• Supervise and train pharmacy assistants and technicians.
• Review insurance claims, manage drug destruction and expiry files.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and work under pressure.
• Well‑organized, motivated, energetic and team‑oriented.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software such as QS1, Nexus or Koroll.
• Computer literacy and ability to use pharmacy management systems.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of CI$65,000 per annum.
