Pharmacist

About the role

The Pharmacist will work full‑time on‑site in George Town, overseeing safe dispensing of pharmaceuticals and supporting medication management for BlueWater’s healthcare partners. The role involves prescription verification, patient counseling, and collaboration with the distribution team to maintain optimal inventory and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Counsel patients and clinical staff on proper medication use, dosages, interactions, and storage.
• Monitor inventory levels, product expiry dates, and quality assurance for pharmaceutical and medical‑surgical supplies.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, update records, and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy, eligible for registration in the Cayman Islands.
• Strong clinical knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, interactions, and therapeutic indications.
• Experience in community or hospital pharmacy dispensing and patient counseling.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply‑chain practices and inventory management.
• Ability to interpret pharmacy regulations and professional guidelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems.
• Competence in basic office software for documentation and reporting.
