Mortgage Specialist – Home Financing Advisor

About the role

RBC is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to provide expert home‑financing and creditor‑insurance advice to clients. You will work closely with internal partners and external influencers such as realtors, lawyers, and developers to grow the bank’s mortgage portfolio and strengthen its community presence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and present tailored mortgage solutions.
• Acquire new mortgage clients through networking, referrals, and community events.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key external partners and centers of influence.
• Ensure high‑quality credit applications and onboarding for every client.
• Participate in market and community events to promote RBC’s brand.
• Maintain compliance with RBC, industry, and legal standards, including fraud and anti‑money‑laundering procedures.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Solid understanding of the real‑estate market and competitors.
• Minimum 2 years of credit experience with strong networking abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and flexibly, including weekends.
• University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
