Junior IT Officer

About the role

This is an exciting entry‑level opportunity for a Junior IT Officer within a well‑established financial services organisation. You will support business applications, technology systems and digital initiatives while helping end users and contributing to continuous improvement of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for business applications and technology systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, application and system‑related issues.
• Assist with system testing, upgrades, implementations and technology enhancements.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Deliver technical support and guidance to employees across the organisation.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures and system records.
• Contribute to IT projects, digital transformation initiatives and process‑improvement activities.
• Liaise with external vendors and support cybersecurity, compliance, business continuity and onboarding activities.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of IT experience, or recent graduate with relevant internships or project work.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organisational and time‑management abilities, with a willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
