IT Systems & Support Administrator

About the role

Compass Media is seeking an experienced IT Systems & Support Administrator to work alongside the Head of IT, ensuring all technology systems remain fully operational for over 100 staff members. The role involves both day‑to‑day support and strategic administration of critical media and broadcast infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support for 100+ staff, including device builds and onboarding.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID services.
• Maintain networks, FortiGate firewalls, Windows servers, storage solutions and backups.
• Deliver IT support for TV and radio studios, playout and newsroom systems.
• Own shared media storage and media asset management (MAM) systems.
• Produce clear documentation and runbooks for all processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on IT support or systems administration for 50+ users.
• Strong experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server and networking.
• Associate degree or diploma in IT, or equivalent certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to stay calm in a high‑pressure, live broadcast environment.
• Fortinet, broadcast or MAM experience is an advantage.
