Customer Service & Installation Service Technician

About the role

Based in Grand Cayman and reporting to the Technical Service Manager, this full‑time permanent position involves installing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment for PBS Cayman’s clients. The technician will also educate customers on equipment issues and guide them through setup and use, providing support both on‑site and from the office.

Key responsibilities

• Install, diagnose and repair various equipment, identifying and replacing defective components.
• Assist and educate clients on equipment problems and proper usage.
• Provide on‑site and remote support, managing inventory and completing paperwork for parts expenses.
• Follow tasks through to completion and respond to occasional weekend service requests.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a technical support role.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong reliability, client‑facing abilities and commitment to customer service.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from KYD 48,000 to KYD 60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
