About the role

The Clinical Systems Engineer is responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting Doctors Hospital’s clinical and information technology systems, including the Hospital Information System (HIS), EMR, and related applications. The role works closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams to ensure continuous, secure operation of all clinical IT services.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps, and IT Support Technicians to deploy and support hospital applications and infrastructure.
Manage the IT ticketing system, change controls, and ensure SLA compliance for incident response.
Oversee hospital IT infrastructure, network services, email, VOIP, and data storage, maintaining optimal uptime.
Install, configure, and monitor hardware, operating systems, and security applications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software faults, provide remote or on‑site support, and produce documentation and diagrams.
Implement cybersecurity measures, data‑protection protocols, backups, DR/BCP, and ensure compliance with DPL, GDPR, HIPAA, and JCI standards.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent certifications.
Minimum three years of experience in medium‑to‑large hospitals, including supervisory experience.
Hands‑on experience with Tier‑1 clinical systems such as Cerner, EPIC, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, or MedWorxs STAT.
Strong understanding of network topologies, data infrastructures, and Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Entra, O365, Exchange, Defender).
