Corporate & Commercial Lawyer (5+ PQE) – Cayman Islands

About the role

We are seeking Commonwealth‑qualified lawyers with a strong corporate and commercial background to join leading offshore law firms in the Cayman Islands. This role offers exposure to sophisticated cross‑border transactions and an international client base in one of the world’s premier financial centres.

Key responsibilities

• Assist offshore firms with corporate finance, banking, insurance, and investment fund matters.
• Support mergers & acquisitions, telecommunications, technology, aviation, shipping, maritime, and natural resources transactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with international clients and counterparties.
• Provide technical legal advice on complex, multi‑jurisdictional deals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate or commercial law.
• Commonwealth qualification and experience with a reputable regional, national, or international law firm.
• Demonstrated technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong relationship‑management skills.
• Experience in one or more of the listed practice areas is essential.
