Corporate Associate (5+ PQE) – Offshore Law Firm in Cayman Islands

About the role

This position is for an experienced corporate lawyer to join a leading offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands. The associate will work on high‑profile public M&A, capital‑markets and cross‑border transactions, advising global corporations, investment banks, private‑equity sponsors and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on IPOs, takeovers, SPACs and other equity and debt capital‑markets transactions.
• Support complex international M&A matters from inception to completion.
• Collaborate closely with leading on‑shore firms and international clients.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and transaction structuring.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated experience in public M&A, capital‑markets and cross‑border deals.
• Strong analytical abilities and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Cayman Islands and build a long‑term offshore career.
