Head of Marketing & Business Development – Americas

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head Marketing and Business Development across the Americas for a leading international law and professional services firm. Reporting to regional leadership, you will partner with partners and senior executives to drive growth, strengthen client relationships and enhance market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted adviser to partners on regional strategy, client development and market positioning.
• Champion and implement the firm’s global M&BD strategy across the Americas.
• Design and deliver regional initiatives aligned with firm‑wide growth objectives.
• Lead cross‑border business development programmes and strategic account management.
• Identify revenue sources using data‑driven insights and execute targeted growth programmes.
• Oversee regional business planning, budgeting and ROI measurement.
• Build, develop and motivate a high‑performing regional Marketing & Business Development team.
• Promote best‑practice processes, operational consistency and compliance with brand standards.
• Encourage use of CRM and digital platforms to improve decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 10–15 years progressive business development experience in professional services.
• Proven track record of leading regional marketing and BD teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
